Over these last couple of years, U.S. imperialism’s narrative managers have been confronted with a crisis: vast amounts of people across the political spectrum are breaking from the pro-imperialist orthodoxy. BAP isn't the only example of reactionary alt-right kooks proposing foreign policies indistinguishable from the neoconservative status quo. There's also Morgoth over at Morgoth's Review with 'The Last Days Of The Not My Problem Bros', an article essentially arguing that while the current empire doesn't benefit anyone but military-industry complex executives and politicians hopped up on cold war domino theory dogma, the alt-right should still maintain it, since if it ever fell, everyone currently victimized by it would go for revenge not just on the relatively few individuals actually responsible, but the whole countries they used as their cannon fodder.
It's infuriating and really shows off how morally bankrupt the empire is, that it'd prefer to continue itself at the cost of aligning with *openly* genocidal reactionaries than collapse from humanitarian grounds.
