The class conflict within this country is close to crossing a pivotal threshold. This is the threshold where our workers movement becomes too independent from the Democratic Party for it to any longer be sufficiently held back by reformism and opportunism. The question of whether the people can end our society’s appalling class inequality by taking over the Democratic Party has already been answered. By rigging the 2016 and 2020 primaries, the DNC proved twice that it’s capable of shoving out pro-worker candidates, so now the proletariat has no choice but to embrace the revolutionary option. That was always our only choice of course, but these events have demonstrated how reformism isn’t a viable alternative.
At the moment, the most damaging thing any individual can do to the system is promote online material that challenges imperialism’s narratives. Doing that brings our cause forward.

Yes and no.
The comparison here is being made to unrest an Arab country invaded by North Americans arriving from another continent Which is completely different from domestic dissatisfaction in a North American country that is itself primarily populated by descendants of colonisers that have operated within a caste system for centuries. And…..are deeply brainwashed into blaming each other and taking out frustration on selected scapegoats. Which would suit the authorities in this case.
Also it’s well known that in Iraq the unrest was deliberately sown by the U.S. invaders operating on a model they had used before in Guatemala and El Salvador. Be careful about making direct comparisons. Other than that in fact they might just put domestic groups against each other ON PURPOSE to take the heat off themselves.
