I have to say you have such an unpractical fantasy about russian and russian communists.
" This is the stance that all communists take, though as Russia shows, a state can be in an anti-imperialist role when it’s a capitalist state. What makes it anti-imperialist is when it opposes the primary reactionary force in the world today, that being the pro-U.S. bloc. When Russia’s communists take back power, the country’s current ruling class will represent a wholly reactionary force. But for now, Russia’s communists and Russia’s capitalist state aren’t so antagonistic, as they’re carrying forth their shared goal."
You also notice the current russian power is indeed capitalist, but if russian win this war, how can you assure "Russia’s communists take back power"? Wont this victory make the russian ruling power more stable? Wont this victory make the russian capitalism stronger and turn into another imperialism state like the US?
The idea that "support lesser evil to fight greater evil" and after that, hope the lesser evil will miraculously changed, and controlled by communist, is absolutely unpractical.
Also, this kind of unpractical fantasy also appears on the opinion about china. As a chinese myself, I can tell you the Belt&Road(一带一路) is pretty much about solving the over produced commodities, holding the current unemployment, and export these over produced commodities and production power to the third world state. Fighting the capitalism? Dont even think about it, china has been another version of the US already.
USA is the primary imperialist villain but still, capitalist and imperialist Russia must be differentiated from China, which is still a socialist state, no matter their current NAP phase.
A capitalist state does what it does. The main reason RF's international policies aren't more aggressive is the global bully USA which itself is just too relentless and aggressive in it's imperialism. I don't believe there is a dominant isolationist policy current in RF. For example, montenegrin coastline has been pretty much sold out to russian bourgeoisie like 10-15 years ago. However, any opposition to USA is edfinitely good and progressive, no doubts there.
I agree with everything. But you could have said it with about 40% of the words used. Good job though.
I decided to mention stuff in a thorough fashion.

Russia isn't imperialist. You seriously need to study Lenin and the Russian Fed since 2014 before making any comments about imperialism.
