This reminds me of the discussion in Socialist Action(Trot group) I was a part of. One side wanted to have US out of Syria and the other side wanted US out of Syria and Assad gone. At the time, no one cared about either, where my branch was. We got kicked out and formed Socialist Resurgence and SR and folx that kicked out of that tend to point the guns at Ukraine/NATO and Russia. Love the in-depth coverage of this publication.
