I understand that you as a student (or recent graduate?) would be online a lot, so you see this H1b debate. But the vast majority of workers are not on Twitter and don't know about this h1 whatever Visa. The south is full of factories where workers start at $17/hour working brutally long shifts on their feet. The next step is immigrant labor. It is already suspicious how the factory my husband works at is not hiring workers when spots are vacant. That happens all over low to mid skilled jobs. A worker leaves and his tasks are given to someone with an already-full workload.

I just want to pull your focus to where the masses are. Cause they ain't on Twitter, and the only thing they like about Musk is when he gives the finger to Democrats. They most certainly don't care if the tiny tiny tiny subset of the skilled labor market suddenly has the same problems they have had for decades. They'd probably say, "now you know how it feels, after you mocked our decaying towns for decades."

My husband lost his job in the oil fields because the company started importing groups from Mexico at $8/hour.

Focus on the masses, not the intellegentsia!

I don't think the majority of engineers in oil and gas consider themselves intelligentsia. They're actually an easy target when something goes wrong and so end up being rather dry, even crusty. Engineering programs have more hours to them. So more work just to get started, being an easy target for finger pointing in the case of a fugg up, sometimes longer hours to finish a particular project, well of course they made those sacrifices to get better pay. The H-1B visas fug them royally. They were never your enemy. But those people that rugged you over years ago are now digging them harder and harder. The oil patch isn't even offering full pensions to its rank and file engineers. You have compatriots in a cause for unionization and higher wages, better benefit packages if you chose to see and take this opportunity to reach out. I recommend both both Communist Party USA and Democratic Socialist if America. We on the left can work together to improve the lives of all of us in this country. We don't have to fall into debt bondage wether from student loans, medical debts or the outrageous costs of a roof, man the list goes on. There's going to be propaganda against unions, money being put in to our people instead of paedo-raping Island for the Crapitalist Overlord billionaires. So expect it and recognize where it's coming from. If it's dividing people against each other instead of uniting us against our common foes- those fewer than 1000 old men who own most of the world's wealth.

Both orgs you recommend are dead ends for the new left. Those orgs are controlled by the intelligence services.

Besides that, the revolution is coming from the political "right", not the political "left".

Agreed with the first part of your comment though.

The right only brings fascism and death and by its essence is owned by the corrupt rich already controlling everything. The left protects lives. Time to be honest. Saying the life savers are coopted sounds like a psyop to me

Good points. What exactly do you mean by woke? This term is so corrupted, misused, and abused.
