To the majority of the world’s socialist and anti-imperialist movements, it’s not surprising that Russia’s decision to take action in Ukraine has been vindicated. All who’ve been paying attention knew from the start that this was strategically sound for Russia to do, because they’ve seen the direction that history has been going in throughout the 21st century. With the destruction of Ukraine’s armed forces to the point where peace negotiations are now being semi-openly
I agree with what you have written.. Alas, I cannot help you with a contribution as I don't have the money, not even for small sums and there are a lot of you asking for them. A year ot so ago I was able to live on my pension and save some of it.The imposition of sanctions on Russia prices rose and left me almost penniless. They wanted to punish Russia, wich was doing the right things and instead punished themselves and us. I spent 10 days in August with no money at all. Fortunately it was a short period in which no bills came and my flatmate helped me a bit and a cousin in the USA sent me some money which has already been swallowed up.
Being disabled I can't go to my bank which will not let me delegate a friend to reme but
There is a silver lining which you miss. If there is a socialist revolution in the United States, a thing which is no longer impossible in spite of all the people reading this thinking "it can't happen here," it will be in a FAR better position than the one in which the Russian Bolsheviks found themselves.
There will be no Central Powers occupying California.
There will be no imperialist powers ready to occupy Seattle or New York as bases from which to support a counterrevolution. There will be no danger of a Nazi rising to power in Canada or Mexico preaching expansion into the United States for living space. There will still be US armed forces powerful enough that attacking them on their home ground would be clear suicide.
No, the remaining capitalist powers, and I include Russia and China here, would have to worry about the influence of American socialism on their own working classes. It would be a delicious historical irony.

Well you were right, up until the end.
Then you flubbed the landing.
Now, that's a clever barb. I appreciate those, even when they're aimed at me.
