America didn't "steal" anything from Mexico. It conquered large territories that had been nominally under Mexican ownership for about 20 years. Before that, it was a colonial Spanish possession of Her overseas Empire, just like the rest of "Mexico." And despite having won the war that gained them the territory, as part of the treaty ending the war The United States paid 15 million dollars to Mexico for the land, equivalent to over half a billion dollars in todays money.
There are many legitimate concerns and issues with regards to Latino/American relations, how they are treated, access to work, immigration etc - without obfusticating the issue with some inane, moralistic claim that California is somehow Mexican sovereign territory.
Okay but Mexico wouldn’t have sold them the land otherwise, the US tried to buy it before going to war and for good reason Mexico refused. How is going to war and forcing them to sell you the land not basically the same as stealing it? $600,000,000 (counting in todays money) isn’t shit compared to the wealth those states bring to the US over time.
The technocrats are going to fight back? Well I hope so even I hate taking sides in this. Do you think Zuck and Bezos are regretting their decision to polish Trumps knob?
Gobbledegook.
